OneEighty is grateful to have two auxiliary groups that host events within their communities to help raise funds for OneEighty’s programs and educate the public on our mission.
Friends of OneEighty (formally known as Wayne County Friends and Neighbors and The RISERS):
The purpose of this organization shall be to enable meaningful involvement, to provide financial resources, to increase public awareness, reduce stigma, promote community outreach, and to educate the community regarding the programs offered at OneEighty.
Friends & Neighbors began in 1988 with the goal to raise additional monies for OneEighty's emergency shelter and domestic violence and sexual assault victims. The RISERS began in 2011 with the goal to support the outpatient clients at OneEighty by helping reduce the stigma associated with addiction and ensuring that our substance use treatment services remain accessible to the community. The two auxiliary groups merged in 2020 and were renamed Friends of OneEighty.
Holmes County Friends and Neighbors of OneEighty
The purpose of this organization shall be to provide financial assistance to OneEighty programs and services with a focus on promoting the healing of individuals and families who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault.
Holmes County Friends and Neighbors of OneEighty was established in 2004.
