Welcome to OneEighty – a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.
Non-Profit Internship Opportunities at OneEighty
OneEighty offers exceptional internship opportunities for aspiring counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. Our program provides a rich and supportive environment to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your licensure.

- Cost-Effective Supervision: Unlike many programs, we don't charge for clinical supervision, saving you hundreds of dollars.
- Diverse Experience: Gain experience in various areas of mental health, from outpatient services to victim support.
- Supportive Learning: Our program offers extensive shadowing opportunities before taking on a caseload, ensuring you feel confident and prepared.
- Flexible Schedule: We understand interns juggle coursework and other responsibilities. Our program offers flexible hours to accommodate your needs.
- Post-Internship Opportunities: Many interns are offered employment after completing their program. You'll be treated as a valued team member from day one, with access to the same onboarding as new hires.
- Paid Internship Opportunities: Certain intern positions within the organization are paid depending on level of education and field of interest.
We offer internships in a variety of departments, including:
- Outpatient Services
- Victim Services
- Community Education & Prevention (CE&P) (through the College of Wooster)
- Residential Services (for Social Work interns)
Internships are unpaid unless noted when hired. Lengths vary depending on your program requirements. Typically, internships in Outpatient and Victim Services last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending to a year.

Continuing Education Opportunities
OneEighty provides employees with ongoing education opportunities at the agency, as well as through certified continuing education programs. Availability of accredited educational opportunities is dependent upon position, and can be discussed with position supervisors or department directors.
Education Reimbursement
In addition, some OneEighty job positions are eligible for reimbursement for education costs, dependent on certifications/licensure and state/federal guidelines. The employee is responsible for seeking out courses and training mediums that enhance their career development and are in line with OneEighty’s mission.
