Are you looking for a way to give back to your community and make a real impact? We are in need of Volunteer Hospital Advocates, an important volunteer position for our agency.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Volunteer is responsible for responding to the hospital as a support system if the request for sexual assault support takes places during the volunteer’s on-call shift.

• Respond to Wooster Community Hospital or Aultman Orrville anytime they are requested during their on-call shift or to fill in during emergencies.
• Respond to the hospital within 45 minutes of the initial hotline request for sexual assault support.
• Work directly with the Victim Advocate or the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that they are scheduled for shifts in the upcoming month.
